Land Ho!: How to Make the Most Out of Visits, Virtual Programming, and Outreach

There's no such thing as a dumb question (although “is mayonnaise an instrument?” might come close), but there is such a thing as a great question! And we find that the college application process tends to come with a lot of them. So let us help! In this session, we’ll share our insight into how to make the most out of college visits, high school visits, virtual programming, interviews, college fairs, and other outreach as you build and fine-tune your college list. We want to give you the space to identify what it is you really want out of your college experience. This means knowing what questions to ask (of the colleges and of yourself!) and the information you really need to get to wherever it is you want to go. Hint: We’ll ask you to dig a little deeper than How’s your biology major? So get excited (and get curious), because your journey is set to begin!
