Access the Wellesley Experience (AWE) Program Application

Wellesley is a place for leaders, barrier-breakers, and bridge-builders. If you are a high school senior living in or attending school in Massachusetts who feels like this describes you, then we hope you consider applying to our in-person college access program: Access the Wellesley Experience (or AWE, because colleges do love acronyms!). AWE is a full-day program that centers local high school seniors who may be first generation to college, low income, or from communities who have been historically excluded from higher education.

During AWE, you will learn about Wellesley, selective admission, affordability, the liberal arts and sciences, and so much more. Your time on campus will focus on community and belonging, and we hope you’ll come away from the experience empowered to navigate the college admission process.

REQUIRED: Two thoughtful paragraphs (250 - 400 words) addressing the following prompt:
